to the Neo Geo page!
This was easily one
of the most requested pages on the site, and for
good reason - there is no such thing as a clear
and comprehensive Neo Geo directory on the internet.
Our effort is still very much a work in
progress: a large article on the machine's history
and legacy is currently in the works, with categories for all three Neo Geo formats: MVS, ROM, and CD.
For now, everything is very straightforward
and no-nonsense: a selection of Neo Geo Goods on sale is followed by the most accurate
and comprehensive Neo Geo Software catalogue we
could muster.

Neo
Geo Stick
SNK's original Neo Geo stick design was close to perfect - its comfortable digital control stick and 4-button setup was perfect for SNK's numerous fighting games.
Released in 2005 for the PlayStation format, Exar's 'Neo Geo Stick 2' is a very
good replica of the original model.
It coincides with the PS2 Neo
Geo Online Collection, and is an excellent
way to recreate the Neo Geo experience on PS and PS2,
and thus remains a very sought-after item.
Two different versions were released, followed by 3
re-designed 'Neo Geo Stick 3' editions (see below).
Wii and PS3 versions have since been made available to tie in
with the Wii's Neo Geo 'Virtual Console' download service and the PS3 'Neo Geo Station'. |
